My Healing

Hey everyone,

I've lost count of how many times I've attempted to write this blog. I've dreamt about it, talked about it, and planned it in multiple ways. But today, I finally found the courage to write this letter to whoever is reading it.

First and foremost, I hope you are doing well. I hope you are taking care of yourself by staying hydrated and well-fed. I hope you know yourself well enough to embrace whatever brings you peace. I hope that you have experienced enough love in your life to be able to find it within yourself and share it where it's needed. Most importantly, I hope you know how to find peace for yourself, even when you're alone.

My healing journey began years ago, even though I didn't recognize it at the time. I didn't understand what it meant to feel anxiety or to cry without needing to force the tears. It just happened to me. One experience led me to a place where I needed help, and I'm grateful I found it. I will soon find the space to share my story in detail here, and hopefully, some of you can relate. However, for now, I want to focus on what healing means to me and how I want to use LandoStyle’s platform to spread this message.

So, let's get started. I think, I should define it, and then we can discuss it. Emotional healing is the process of acknowledging, allowing, accepting, integrating, and processing painful life experiences and strong emotions. It may involve empathy, self-regulation, self-compassion, self-acceptance, mindfulness, and integration (source: verywellmind.com, Feb 2024).

My goal is to help those who want to find peace in their lives but don't know where to start. The reality is that many of us don't even recognize our anxiety, and we may not accept that there are things we can do to improve ourselves and find peace. The truth is that many of us grew up in environments filled with traumas and bad habits that hinder our ability to love ourselves, love others, and relate to others. These traumas occurred in our childhood or early years, and we've adopted these behaviors as part of our core values and daily habits in adulthood. A journey back to our upbringing may result in a shift in our perspectives that affects our adult lives today.

Once we accept this process, we can start working towards not only our emotional healing but also the healing of those around us. I am so excited to start this new way to express ourselves and do it with style. We will open up many topics, and I'm excited to start these conversations on various platforms.

I'll catch you later,

Lando
